Bring ketamine-assisted therapy into your work with the support of a medical team.

Upstream partners with licensed therapists to provide the medical screening, medication support, clinical oversight and treatment space needed for ketamine-assisted therapy.

You remain your client’s primary provider, guiding their preparation, accompanying them through the experience and supporting their integration afterward.

Sessions take place at our clinic in Abbotsford, BC.

You know your client.

We support the medical side of their care.

Ketamine-assisted therapy brings medical treatment and therapeutic care together. At Upstream, those responsibilities remain clearly defined.

You continue the therapeutic relationship you have already built with your client. Our medical team assesses whether ketamine may be a medically appropriate option, develops the medical plan and provides the medication, monitoring and clinical oversight required during each session.

Working collaboratively allows your client to explore this approach without being transferred into an unfamiliar therapeutic program or losing the continuity of care they already have with you.

Clear roles. Coordinated care.

How The Process Works

1. Start A Conversation

Contact Upstream to discuss your client, ask questions and learn more about the referral process. You do not need to transfer their care to us.

2. Medical Assessment

Your client meets with a member of the Upstream medical team. We review their medical history, current medications and other relevant factors to determine whether ketamine may be a safe and appropriate treatment option.

3. Prepare Together

You prepare your client therapeutically while Upstream coordinates the medical plan and practical details of their treatment. Clear communication between everyone involved helps the client know what to expect.

4. Attend The Medicine Session

You accompany your client to Upstream’s Abbotsford clinic and remain with them throughout the experience. Our medical team administers the medication, monitors their physical well-being and remains available for medical support.

5. Continue The Therapeutic Work

Following the session, you help your client explore and integrate what arose during the experience. Their ongoing therapeutic care remains with you.
